Family sound-guessing game
Hear it. Guess it. Make some noise.
A card game you print at home. Scan a card, a mystery sound plays, and the table judges the guess: one phone, face down, and a deck from your own printer. Kids from about four play alongside grown-ups: the deck you print is tuned to your household's ages, and in phone play a hidden skill rating keeps adjusting as each player plays, so nobody ever picks a difficulty level.
Real cards from the trial deck, printed on your own paper.
Play two ways
The app never makes you choose. On the phone: it plays the sound, the guesser answers out loud, the table judges, next player. With cards: print the deck on your own printer, fold them once, and each card's QR code is what the phone scans. The answer is already on the card in your hand, so the phone stays out of the round entirely.
A hundred hand-picked sounds
Every clip in Clatterbox is a recording someone listened to and picked for how well it plays at a table. The free trial deck is 23 sounds and the rules card, playable and printable in full, no account and no time limit. The Full Box is one payment, £4.99, that unlocks the rest of the 100-sound library and everything added to it later. There is no subscription and nothing expires, and every card you've already printed keeps working exactly as it did before you bought it.
Built for a family evening
About fifteen turns, shared round the table, capped so nobody sits out and nobody's stuck playing past bedtime.
In beta on both iPhone and Android right now, with the store releases to follow. See what testing looks like.
